This hoop is okay. It's cheaper than many comparable pool-hoops. Very easy to set-up. It's fairly compact (small footprint), so it doesn't take up a lot of the pool deck, which is nice. It is, however, fairly small (about half the size of a regulation backboard and hoop). It's fine for pool-play. My biggest issue is that the rim is just painted steel and POORLY painted at that. I've had it for about 2 weeks, and it is already severly rusting. The rim is NOT designed to be used around a pool. I need to disassemble it, scrub the rust off, prime and re-paint it... kind-of a pain especially since it is basically new! It ships in a BIG box (obviously), and the box itself was pretty beat-up on delivery. Contents, however were fine. This product does the job, but my advice - Spend the extra money and buy a quality pool-side hoop. The seller (Dazadi)was good... quick ship... no problems.

Nice product. Attractive.
The bolts enclosed to attach hoop to the base did not reach through to the other side far enough to attach the fasteners. I had to go buy replacment bolts that were 1/4 inch longer. Bolts should be 4" not 3-3/4". Otherwise it was easy to set up.

The basketball goal appears much larger in the picture - it is a small goal and is not a good value for the size goal that it is. Adults and older kids will be very disappointed with this product. If you have kids under the age of 7, this could work for you.

After one season the rim and the bolts are rusting leaving ugly rust residue running down the lenght of the base. I would have hoped a pool side basketball hoop would not rust!
