The Lifetime 9594 Universal Basketball Backboard and Rim Mounting Bracket is designed to fit most Lifetime Backboard and Rim Combos. The Lifetime universal mounting bracket allows you to attach a new basketball backboard and rim to an existing 3 1/2 inch round pole, roof or wall. Does NOT include backboard, rim, or bolts to mount to roof, wall, or pole.

This product is designed strictly for Lifetime backboards and is not universal for all backboards. I bought this product because of its quality construction without knowing it would not fit my 52" Spalding backboard. I was able to mix and match pieces from this product and extra ones from my backboard, along with drilling some new holes, to get this product to work with the Spalding backboard. I would recommend this product only to those purchasing a Lifetime backboard unless that individual is willing to customize parts and pieces to fit non-Lifetime products.

Installed this on a garage wall. Difficult installation made worse with horrible directions. Edges and upper part of board are "dead". (No bounce) Still a good value for the price and will suit very casual shooting, which is what I wanted.

I naively expected that there would either be standards for
backboards or that a universal mounting bracket would address
variability in the backboard and mounting surface (roof). I didn't
find that to be the case for this bracket.

Small packages are generally shipped using UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. A few lightweight items are shipped using USPS. Oversized and heavy items are shipped using a freight carrier. We reserve the right to utilize the shipping method we feel will provide the best service and value.

Please note that some items ship in retail packaging with product images printed on the box. If the item is a gift and you are worried about ruining the surprise, please consider shipping to work or an alternate address instead.

Orders typically arrive within 4 to 7 business days after leaving the warehouse. Keep in mind that delivery dates are estimates based on item availability, shipping location and shipping schedules. These delivery dates are not guaranteed.

For freight shipments, the freight carrier is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck or carrying it into your home. The freight carrier will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time. We recommend having at least two able-bodied adults available at the time of delivery.
