Excellent adjustable mounting system

Has to be one of if not the best adjustable mount available - especially when you factor in the price. I actually mounted it over a garage on a brick wall. It's near impossible to find advice on how to do this. The trick was to drill pilot holes through the brick wall and then actually anchor the lag screws into the studs of the house. This way you're not relying on the brick to hold the system in place. Brick isn't strong enough. This mount worked perfectly for a wall mount. The steel plate is approximately 8" wide x 20" high which creates a very stable backing against the wall. There is almost zero vibration when you shoot. Mounting holes match up very nicely with the Spalding backboards. I was able to put the mount and backboard up by myself and a couple of ladders. But it is very heavy so you may want 2 people. Also, if you're doing a wall mount, plan on making a couple trips to the hardware store for some misc. screws, nuts, bolts and washers to get everything up just right based on the specifics of your mounting location. Another tip - I assembled the mount on the ground first, then installed the mounting plate on the wall, then lifted the entire assembly up to the plate and bolted in place with the six bolts provided. Essentially a quick connect / disconnect method. I think it made the process much easier.

For freight shipments, the freight carrier is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck or carrying it into your home.
