This is a gift for our grandson and he thinks he has the best thing in the world. My son likes the fact it can be adjusted as the kids grow.

I have 3 very athletic boys ages 10, 15, 18 and they spend a lot of time shooting hoops in my basement playroom. I wanted a real hoop that would be 6.5 feet high. This workes perfectly for indoor play. Specifically the rim stays in place and does not fall when touched like some of the other smaller hoops.

I looked all over for a driveway hoop for my 6-year-old -- she's big enough to use a full-size ball, but nowhere near tall enough to use even the adjustable hoops you see (where rim height can only go down to around 6 feet -- she's only 43 inches tall!) This is the only one I found, and it's great -- the rim starts out low enough for her to get a ball in, and she can be working on dribbling and ball handling with a real ball, not the toddler size ball you usually get with lower hoop sets.

My parents bought this for my sons 5th birthday. It is perfect. He absolutely loves it. The adjustable height is great for him now and still has time to grow with him. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!!!!!!!!!!!
