The product was for our 8 year old son, he bought it with his own money. He loves to have a professional looking basketball hoop in the family room and he plays with it everyday. We really like the product but the net is ripping already, I have had to tie it up so it will not unravel. We would purchase it again but we'll send it back if net is not right.

We mounted this hoop to our three boys' (14, 12, and 8) game room wall, and it has been a great addition! We've gone through Nerf hoops, made from plastic, which break easily and limit your usage. But everyone loves shooting on this high-quality hoop. The boys and their friends can play basketball indoors when the rain keeps them from playing outside. It's not full-size, but for the money, it's a great deal!

I got this for my 4 and 3 year old boys who are basketball junkies. It hangs over their closet door, and they love shooting at the hoop. The ball that comes with it is a bit too sturdy for bedroom use (a great ball, though). Instead, they play with a soft ball that won't harm anything (or anyone) in their room. It's 1,000x better than those junky over-the-door Nerf rims I had to use as a kid.
