The Rolbak Net easily attaches to the back of the rim with a webbing harness or to the bottom extension arms using nylon brackets, and the high tensile netting catches missed shots and lets them safely roll back to the player, severely reducing the need to chase the basketball after every shot. It can also help you get the most out of training time by allowing you to concentrate on making shots rather than running after the ball. This net was not too difficult to install. It does a great job of keeping our ball from hitting the grass under our basketball pole near the court and from going down the small hill there. It is relatively easy to move back and forth, and we find the water filled option to be fine. You can move the base as needed to have the ball return; however, you should push it back out of the way for competitive play. It works great for our hoop which is on our driveway. Overall, very satisfied.

The plastic weights filled with water leaked and new plasic inserts had to be ordered. Only then were we told to fill with sand instead. The net itself is great and the concept is awesome, however on a downward slanted driveway the ball still tended to go beyond the net and into the flowers.
My first one lasted about 3 years. I was happy with it. As with anything that is exposed to the elements of weather it wore out over time. So I purchased a second one. It is very useful for me as it helps prevent the ball going over the neighbors yard. The plastic bag that you can use for water is useless (guaranteed to leak), save yourself the time and just use sand.

Previously read reviews recommended filling with sand vs. water. This was not an easy task. We found it difficult to get a funnel through the opening to get the sand in- but after just one bag of sand we determined it was enough- or it gets too heavy to move. I believe that the pain will be worth the gain though as we won't have to worry about it leaking water.

Our court runs up against the top of a slope so this has been great to capture the balls and keep them from rolling into the neighbors yard. Now we can concentrate on the game instead of running after the ball all the time. The only issue with the system was when it came time to fill the base with water. We had a couple of false starts with this and after some effort, got the base filled successfully. We are very pleased with the end result.
