Darts
Getting a good dart game going doesn't take much equipment, just a dart board and some darts. But the set up of your dart throwing area is a critical part to a good game. Here are some tips on how to line it up and stay on target.
Space
- Make sure your dart throwing area is away from people and high foot traffic zones
- Make space for spectators and other players to watch on the sidelines
- Choose a playing area that is well lit
- When darts fall they can damage wood and carpet floors. Concrete floors can break darts. Consider using a dart mat. Dazadi offers them in our Throw Line section.
Measurements
- Give your playing area some space - about 11 feet long and 5 feet wide
- Mark your throw line 7 feet, 9 and 1/4 inches from the face of the board
- Hang your dart board 5 foot 8 inches from the floor to the center of the bullseye
