This cue is truly for someone who has gone through their "starting" stages and have got their shots down...do not get this stick if you aren't serious about pool and also if you're not ready to start competing because this stick if for someone who has put in the time to perfect their shots and are ready for a higher quality stick. Overall, the graphite helps, but isn't as smooth as some might think. Also, be careful with this thing because it will crack more easily than you might think. Overall, it's a PLAYERS cue, meaning it's a good cue, don't pick it up unless you're ready for it.
