This product is used in the midwestern state of Ohio. It was a gift for 2 grandsons, age 8 and 10. They love outdoor sports (no matter the weather) and are competitive, so this was a great purchase. Another parent on one of their basketball teams has asked about purchasing one for her children. It is quite the hit of the neighborhood.

Light not designed for adjutable backboards. Had to improvise on the installation, but still works great.
The hoop light was purchased for my son's birthday. It's great during the summer when all of his friends are over and they want to keep playing after the sun goes down. Sometimes after dark when the neighbors have all gone inside, the noise of the bouncing ball and the player's voices can carry thoughout the neighborhood. So far that hasn't been an issue with the neighbors, but it's worthy of noting. The only flaw that see with the product is that electrical cord for the light is too high up the pole. An extension cord has to be used to plug it in and that makes it challenging for the players to try not to trip over the cord while their playing. It would have been better if the plug was designed so that the electrical cord could have been run through a PVC tube and then it could be baried underground.
My son really enjoys the light. He plays basketball after dark as often as he can. We have a three-car driveway and the light covers the entire area. It's a great product.
